If you have been following Intentional Fortune since inception, you know that my company offers a 100% reimbursement program for in state tuition. Also, I’m a licensed engineer, but most of the work I do now is focused around project management and business. Because of this, I applied for the top professional Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program in the state (top 25 nationally) this past February and…

I’m excited to announce that I just received my acceptance email and phone call yesterday afternoon!

On Intentional Fortune, I preach taking action towards your goals and dreams. You should plan, but you shouldn’t let the unknown (fear) cause you to keep planning, keep going through what ifs. You should develop a plan and trust it enough to execute. If you do end up failing, you will have learned a valuable lesson. You’ll know what to expect next time, and be more motivated than ever.

In my case, I could have easily second-guessed myself and said my GRE score or undergraduate GPA wasn’t high enough, or we weren’t financially ready to float one semester of classes, or it just wasn’t the right time in our lives because of everything we have going on, but I didn’t. I chose to act now because life is too short and fortune favors the bold. I apologize for the cliches, but they really are true in my experience…

Is there a goal or dream that you have? Do you have a plan? Are you acting on that plan? If not, what can you do to get started?
