March will be the first full month of existence for Intentional Fortune. I am excited about the remainder of 2019 and can’t wait to share my thoughts on this blog and start helping people.

I have ambitious plans for this blog in the coming year including writing articles about more ways to earn extra money online; tips, recommendations, and resources for getting ahead in your professional life or career; ways to save money; guides, tips, and general articles on different aspects of blogging; passive income ideas; investing advice; personal advice; and more all told from my own experience and in my own voice

I believe in and have seen accountability work as a motivator and hope that posting these goals here will help me achieve them in 2019. Again, some are ambitious (see blog goals below), but I think with a great deal of work on my part and a little help from you, we can make this blog a great resource for people struggling in different aspects of their professional and financial lives. Without further ado, my goals for 2019.

Personal Goals for 2019

  1. Receive Approvals for Promotion to Senior Engineer
  2. Pay off wife’s car
  3. Pay off $6,000 of wife’s student loan debt
  4. Average less than $800.00/month in food expenses
  5. Start MBA program and complete first semester

Intentional Fortune Goals for 2019

  1. Write 100+ Quality Blog Posts
  2. Setup Email Marketing and Start Creating a List
  3. Have 100+ Followers Between Pinterest and Twitter
  4. Make $500/Month by the end of 2019
  5. Write 10+ Guest Posts

I plan to write an update each month to breakdown how much progress has been made towards reaching the goals.

I will also be providing a brief summary of what was done the previous month, what I think went well, what I think needs work, and what I plan on doing moving forward to reach the goals.

I’ll add sub-level tasks each month that I think need to be accomplished by the next month in order to reach the goals I’ve set out.

I don’t plan on paying for advertising for Intentional Fortune at this time, but will certainly consider moving forward.

All of the posts written on this blog will be written by me. I have no plans to change that moving forward.

The only exception to this rule may be guest posts as different people have different points of view and life experiences. My point of view may not reach people and spur them to action, but someone else’s might. Ultimately, I don’t care who or what article encourages a person to improve their lives, as long as they take action and start implementing positive change.

What are your goals for 2019? How do you stay motivated?
